Mick Elliott of Greenacre Services
with whom I have been associated for
many years as a customer, being aware
of my involvement with 8BS, has asked
me to dispose of some of their surplus
non-standard BBC equipment.
Whilst continuing to deal with the
provision and repair of basic BBC
computers, Greenacre no longer have
the time or expertise to deal all the
various types of ROM boards, second
processors etc., which have evolved
over the years.
I have collected several boxes of such
items and I am in the process of
trying to put together a price list to
send to Chris in time for inclusion in
8BS 58. Chris, who is aware of my
windfall (his words), has already
referred a number of members to me and
many things that were going to be on
the list have already been snapped up.
Top of the list must be the eight
brand new 65C102 Turbo Boards for the
BBC Master Computer. These are in
their original boxes which have never
been opened until now. They are
complete with the 13 page manual and
support disk.
The price for these is 30 pound each
including postage and packing.
Next there are seven 6502 Second
Processors for the BBC B/B+. These are
not new, there is no manual, and you
will need the DNFS ROM in your machine
to operate them.
The price is 20 pound each including
postage and packing.
Of the remaining items which I am in
the process of itemising, there are
some 150 ROMS, 75 books, a large
quantity of educational software,
(although I think this has already
been spoken for). There are about 20
ATPL boards, several Watford ROM
boards of various types, a number of
Solidisk SWR boards, and two Instant
Mini Office II boards as well as
several modems.
If there is anything you are after and
you don't want to wait until 8BS 58
comes out give me a call and I will see
what I can do.
