STOCKMARKET(Issue5)=When I first tried
this it seemed like a good game. However
after playing it for a little longer I
noticed- a) Price fluctuations are silly
. b) After 40 changed the price of gold
became negative! i.e. They give you
money to buy gold!(51E)

NIGHTMARE PARK(ISSUE5)-I really liked
this game when I first tried it, but
after half an hour it wasn't worth
playing because I knew how to solve all
the puzzles etc. and finishing the game
became easy. If it had twice as many
puzzles and they were more difficult
then this would be a stunningly good
game for the P.D. If writing more
puzzles is a problem, then why not write
a version for owners of Shadow Ram.(51E)
BATTLESHIPS(Issue5)-No complaints with
this one. However I decided there were
too many squares on the grid and the
arrangement of the letters for the
co-ordinates were unorthadox to be
likeable. So I made changes to the *

program.(51E)
STOCKMARKET-I like these games, could be
much improved on error trapping and
graphics. Very easy to complete. Instead
of metals-how about currency?(722)
*IF ANYBODY OUT THERE IS WILLING TO
MAKE IMPROVEMENTS TO MY STOCKMARKET
PROGRAM THEN I AM WILLING TO LET THEM
TRY AS THIS MAGAZINE HAS TAKEN MY
SPARE PROGRAMMING TIME.
NIGHTMARE PARK-Good game. I find that
after 10-15 minutes I'm bored but a
good and well presented game.(722)

BATTLESHIPS-Good game but could be
better (especially graphics). Quite
useful in education.(722)
DEFINER(Issue5)-At last a definer. My
programs have been dying out for one.
It has saved me a great deal of time
working out VDU codes. It could do with
better instructions and better screen
layout-I don't like mode 5. A good
program.(722)
RUNE CONVERTER(Issue5)-Useful if it
could decode and encode. NOTE: back page
of EXILE contains runes.(722)

LOWER TO UPPER CASE(Issue6)-Well written
piece of code, particulary like the
logical conversion in Line 130. Should
find a place in my library of routines.
(68B)
MENU PROGRAM(Issue6)-Well done!, a great
program which has brightened up my menus
no end! Much more info in scrolling text
if you used DATA statements.(722)
MODE 7 BAR CHART(Issue6)-This program
could be useful for bar charts of a
large scale with lots of data. Because
of the mode it uses, very little memory
is taken and therefore complicated
programs that use a lot of memory can
operate.(722) *

MENU PROGRAM-Although I learned nothing
new, I like the scrolling technique
when it scrolls backwards upon pressing
SPACE- 6/10.(1K1)
ADFS BACKUP(Issue6)-A truly useful
utility. This program impressed me-I'm
glad that use is made of the Master's
SWR space, it offers plenty of scope
for things like this. One suggestion=
How about a DFS version which would use
SWR and would copy both sides of a disc
without the need to enter seperate
commands for drives 0 and 2. If it were
written I would use it almost every day.
