waiting in a corner of my room

mind.

Subject: Bulletin Board Host Software
BBC *** WANTED! ***
ON
LINE BBS-Host Software
I'm looking for ANY software package
to setup a dial-up "Viewdata" bulletin
board for the Beeb. (Including
messaging and downloads if possible.)
A Terminal option would also be handy.
Do any 8BS members have host software
they would be willing to part with?
I'm particularly interested in getting
hold of a copy of "XFS", as I've seen
a few boards running on this system...
I'm currently using a BBCB with OS 1.2
16k SWR, Acorn DFS, dbl-sided 80T Disk
and a Miracle WS4000 modem (V21/V23,
Hayes compatible)
Any help would be v.much appreciated..
Thanks!

If anyone is interested, I've written a
brilliant version of Tetris called
Tetish. I'd like to put it out as
Shareware, so if you want a copy (3.5"
disks only) please send me £1.40+p&p,
or a disk and 60p+p&p. I only have HD
disks, but I can turn them into DD
disks if you want me to. Please send
any disks and money to:

This is the complete version, and all
it needs to run is a 286, Mono VGA (EGA
may work as well) and 1Mb RAM. It may
work with less, but this is the minimum
I have access to.

Subject: Help/Wanted
I have two single 80/40 switchable
disc drives that I would dearly like
to couple together to make a double
disc drive. Viglen used to market a
device called a 'Duck' when they were
still dealing in BBC hardware which
did the job. Does anyone have one of
these for sale please.
The point is I want to appeal to the
general membership before appealing to
the gentleman whose name and ident
escapes me to assist if he is willing
to so. It goes without saying that any
expenses incurred will be met in full.
Required also: Master rom cartridges.
