and how to obtain the various
'Text Viewing' options, press the
red key marked f0 when viewing
the Main Menu.
I make minor changes to TBI-00,
the Catalogue/Information disc
just about every day. To keep
abreast of all new additions to
the catalogue, charges and
utility updates, send your copy of
TBI-00 and return postage to 8BS
for a free update. TBI-00 has
recently had a total re-write of
the info and it is very important
that you all read the new info.
The response to my request for
photos to be scanned in has been
excellent. TBI-99 is available as
a 2DA disc which is filling with
digitised pictures of the
membership. If you want to be
included in this edifice, send in
your photo. Larger, matt, black
and white are best. Tell me if you
want the photo back.
Please send in your completed
questionnaire (available on
TBI-00). This is not compulsory,
but it helps me a great deal.
Many thanks for the submissions
and letters of encouragement over
the years, without which we would
never have made it to issue 50.
This menu contains all the info for the
software on this issue.

Please see the info available from the

appeared in 8BS-49, early versions of
which had some of the files missing.
Late addition... Steven informs me that
whilst working on a ROM version of
these compression/decompression
programs, he has come across a couple
of minor bugs in the original programs:
Make sure that you choose fewer
'length' bits than 'offset' bits when
compressing. Don't try to compress very
short files (around 16 bytes). LZSSD
doesn't set the execution address.
