The program 'Snowing' is probably the
only snow most of us will see this
year. It uses palette switching to
create the effect of falling
snowflakes.

Subject: BACKUP
Occasionally when backing up disks
using the inbuilt *BACKUP command,
I've found a error in a single sector
somewhere. This aborts the whole
backup. Also, if the catalogue is
corrupted or doesn't actually hold DFS
data then *BACKUP can get confused.
So, I wrote this program
It copies every sector and if any
sector cannot be loaded because of
errors, it retries it a number of
times, and then ignores just that one
sector and continues.
It is fairly simple to use. It prompts
you for the source and destination
drives and the parameters of the disk.
Just pressing RETURN will use the
defaults shown in brackets. It then
proceeds with the backup displaying
the progress so far.

As usual set your printer up and ready
