Subject: XTerm Serial Terminal
Ooops! There was a slight bug in the
XTerm program last month. If an error
occured when doing a *command, it went
into a continous REPORT loop. A fixed
version is enclosed.

Subject: BACKUP (on issue 62)
Oops, another bugfix. This wouldn't
work on BBC DFSs as I'd not set the
sector length correctly. Enclosed is
a fixed version, repaired by adding
'OR&20' to one line!

Subject: 3.5" disk drives on BBC Bs
It has been mentioned that there are
problems using 3.5" disk drives on a
BBC B. In summary, DFS 1.20 does not
wait long enough for the drives to
become ready and gives 'Disk error 10'
errors (Drive not ready).
I have now got a fully working program
to patch DFS 1.20 to create DFS 1.21
which ignores 'not ready' and so works
fully on 3.5" drives.
The program 'CusDNFS' also allows
you to set some default values in the
NFS part of the rom as well.
All BBCs supplied by me will now
include DNFS 1.21. For anybody without
access to an EPROM programmer, I will
supply replacement DNFS 1.21 roms for
£1.00

Careful Drivers are you one?
We all try to be careful but
sometimes the foot gets heavy on the
